Serotone Biography

Serotone is a highly original, dynamic band with pounding sensibilities and heart to spare.." IMG Music Promotions Limited.

It's been three years in the making, but the wait is almost over - Scotland's hottest new band are about to release their debut album 'Moment of Transparency'.

Dale (lead singer), Lee (bass), Goodie (drums), Lem (guitar) and Eck (guitar) have combined their talents to deliver a unique, heavy, energising rock statement with a melodic ambience. A distinctive sound, pumping with passion and set to take the rock scene by storm.

The boys, who are all in their early 20's joined forces in 2003 with Dale, Lee and Goody asking Eck and Lem to come and audition for the band. Though only one guitar option was initially up for grabs, both worked so well off each other they were both hired, so to speak. Since then they have been producing their own material, regularly thrilling audiences across the UK. They have performed at numerous venues including Fury Murray's, Cathouse, Sound House, 13th Note and The Arches. They have also played in London.

Serotone proved once more they have what it takes to succeed in a 'Battle of the Bands' at Strathclyde University, clinching fourth place in the competition, out of over 300 entrants, firmly making their mark on the country's music scene.

They have taken inspiration from acts such as a Perfect Circle, Radiohead, The Mars Volta, and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, but as drummer Goodie explains, "While there are many exciting bands out there who we admire and respect, I do think we are offering a fresh sound - hard rock with a metal twist".
